We really enjoyed our stay! The campground is situated in a lovely spot. We were able to camp right next to the river that runs along the place and slept through the night listening to the water run. The place was a little crowded, but everyone respected the night time sleep. We weren't very happy about the composting toilets, but to be honest, they were clean and useful and we understand the importance of preserving nature by using such facilities. Overall it was a great place to stay and spend time with the family. We'd love to come back on another time!

Second time here and enjoyed it more than last time. Beautiful little spot and the night time fire is a real winner, and helps the various travelers to chat and swap stories. We'll be back.

Absolutely great campground. We were searching for some place to sleep over between Akaroa and Christchurch, but this place deserves truly a visit! Have a walk in the bushes, get lost there and enjoy!
