All of our holiday homes are self contained with linen provided.

They are also professionally cleaned to ensure a high standard of comfort for every guest.

We have houses that sleep 2 – 16 people.

Children are welcome at most of our properties.

#1 - ANGLERS

Kick back, relax, it's just like home!

Anglers is the perfect place for a family or a group, you have everything you need here, space, warmth and great outdoor living.

There are 3 bedrooms, all have wardrobes.
Master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom (with shower and toilet)
2nd bedroom has a double bed with a single bunk above it
3rd bedroom has one set of single bunks
The large open planned living/dining area has TV, DVD and freeview. A log burner will keep you warm in winter and the large sliding doors open out onto a BBQ area and deck which is fully fenced for privacy and shelter from the weather.

The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of room for you to store your supplies. There is an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

The laundry is situated in the large double internal access garage, so there is plenty of room for the car or any other toys you may wish to bring.

Outside there is room to park the boat and heaps of off street parking.

Ariki is a 3 bedroom, ‘chalet-style' 2-story bach in the heart of Lake Tekapo. Easy walking distance down into the village centre.

On entry into Ariki on the lower level are the 3 bedrooms – 2 queen rooms and a small room with a set of bunks (double bed on bottom with single above). Sleeping a maximum of 6 guests.

There is also a beautiful, modern tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and handbasin.

Upstairs to the second level, where you find the open plan kitchen, dining and living area, clad in exposed timber.

There is a modern and fully equipped kitchen, with all you need to prepare your holiday meals, a dining table, and ample seating to relax in the living area.

There is a flatscreen TV with “freeview” satellite TV, as well as a CD and DVD player and a selection of DVD's and books to enjoy.

The upstairs opens out to a very sunny north facing deck, where you can enjoy lake and mountain views. There is also a small BBQ available.

As well as a heatpump/airconditioning unit, there is a “potbelly” log burner, which is a feature in the living area.

There are currently no laundry facilities available.

Ariki is an older style kiwi-bach, with some modern touches, making for a comfortable and cozy place to enjoy your time in Lake Tekapo.


#3 - BILLS BACH

Located close to town is the cute and cosy, Bills Bach.

Sleeping up to 4 guests, Bills Bach would be ideal for a one or two couples, or a small family, to get away and enjoy all that Tekapo has to offer.

There are two bedrooms both with queen size beds.

Enjoy the warmth of the exposed timber throughout, as well as a heat pump.

Open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, which open out to the large, sunny, north-facing deck (which can be fully enclosed for any little ones).

The modern, well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven and microwave has all you need to create your holiday meals, which can be enjoyed on the dining table, or outside on the deck.

The bathroom has a shower and a separate toilet. There are also laundry facilities – both a washing machine and a drier.

There is good off-street parking


#4 - Blae Loch

Blae Loch - meaning Blue Lake is a superb brand new holiday home set up on a hilll in stunning Lake Tekapo.

It is so new that it is not quite ready - but will be available from 15th July 2014.

Blae Loch has panoramic lake and mountain views that can be enjoyed through the large floor to ceiling windows from the lounge, kitchen, dining areas and from the Master bedroom.

There is a heat pump and log burner to keep you warm in winter and amazing indoor outdoor flow.

There are 4 bedrooms - 2 queen rooms, and 2 triple rooms - Blae Loch can sleep up to 10 guests.

There is also free Wifi included

#5 - Evergreen

Evergreen is a lovely, warm, north facing 2 bedroomed A-frame bach with a large, sunny deck.

Sleeping up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms, this older-style house is a cute and cosy retreat, perfect for a couple or family.

Two bedrooms upstairs - Queen room, and a triple room with 3 single beds. Lovely lake and mountain views from master bedroom.

Open-plan downstairs with an ample kitchen, dining table & spacious living area, as well as bathroom, with shower and seperate toilet and laundry. Cosy log burner with firewood supplied and television with "free view".

Living area opens out to a large deck, which gets good all day sun.

Within 100 metres of children's playground, and a short walk to the village and lake. Plenty of off-street parking.


#6 - FOX CHALET

Fox Chalet, a typical kiwi A-frame bach, has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 7 people with one king room downstairs and upstairs there is another queen room and a room with a queen and a single bed. The master bedroom upstairs has stunning views of the lake and mountains from is private balcony.

The large kitchen downstairs is recently updated and has everything that you would need to cater for your group a large fridge/freezer, oven, hobs, microwave and plenty of bench space.

Also new to this home is second toilet upstairs which is very convenient for those staying in the upstairs bedrooms. The bathroom and laundry are downstairs with a toilet and shower and washing machine.

There is an open plan living and dining area with a log burner for the colder months, a dining table and flatscreen TV, DVD and freeview for entertainment.

There is a sunny large deck area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ to enjoy the sun and the views of the mountains.


#7 - JACK'S BACH

Jack's Bach is a brand new two bedroom fully furnished holiday home just 800m from Lake Tekapo township.

The home is bathed in sunshine and set amongst silver birch trees in an established part of Lake Tekapo with great views of the surrounding areas and Mt John.

Stay warm over winter with a great log burner.

The deck is huge and a highlight of the home. The open plan lounge and dining area open up to the deck care of two large sliders making for great summer dining.

It is been built for our young family and is ideally suited for families.


#8 - MACAULAY HOUSE

Brand new in November 2014, is the stunning Macaulay House.

Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, this spacious and modern 5 bedroomed house, which sleeps up to 9 guests, is perfect for your family get-away in Lake Tekapo.

The modern and bright, open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is the hub of this home. The well equipped kitchen with large island gives you plenty of bench space to prepare your holiday feast; dining table and comfortable lounge area, all opening out to the north facing, sunny patio with the large sliding doors, giving you great indoor-outdoor entertaining options, especially with the BBQ and outdoor furniture.

The lounge area features comfy couches where you can relax and enjoy the view, or be kept entertained with the large flat screen TV with freeview, DVD player and the ipod dock stereo system. There is also a selection of DVD's and games for the children.

The views and outlook from Macaulay House are tranquil - overlooking a large empty paddock, home to rabbits, sheep and horses, it has a quiet, rural-type feel to it; with the bonus of stunning views of the surrounding mountains, as well as a partial lake view.

A heatpump and log burner will keep this home cool over the Summer months, and toasty warm in the Winter.

The Master Bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite bathroom (shower and toilet) and spacious walk-in wardrobe.

There is a second queen bedroom, 2 x twin rooms (each with 2 king single beds), and a room with a single bed.

Apart from the single bedroom, all of the bedrooms have wardrobe storage, are north facing, with lovely big windows to enjoy the views.

As well as ensuite in master bedroom, there is the main bathroom with bath and shower, as well as a separate toilet. There are also laundry facilities.

There is ample off-street parking for a couple of vehicles or boat, as well as undercover parking to escape the weather.

This house is so new, the landscaping and grassed areas are a work in progress.


#9 - Mackenzie Crib

Mackenzie Crib is situated on a quiet road, across from the historic Mt John homestead. Perfect for relaxing, this house provides uninterrupted views of the mountain ranges, as well as lake views. This brand new home features a pallet of natural materials that compliments the local environment.

The location is just magical! Across the road, Al Pacas and merino sheep graze amongst the tussocks, fifty metres away is the Cairns golf course and the town centre is a short 5 min walk away.

The home is an entertainers delight. A large rustic table with a movable butlers bench comfortably seats 10 for dinner parties. The kitchen has everything you need from the latest appliances, to all your cooking & eating requirements.

Relax on the double window seat and enjoy a book in the sun (or just admire the view!). Listen to music on the wireless sound system or curl up around the wood burner fire that creates the perfect ambiance.

Mackenzie Crib has 3 bedrooms.
There are two bedrooms with king beds (both with views out to the mountains), and one large bunk room that sleeps eight.

There are two bathrooms, both with showers. Your stay is further enhanced by a two person free standing bath. In addition there is a separate WC. This configuration allows two families to comfortably share the space.

The bunk room has large floor cushions which allow this space to double as a kids hang out zone so that parents can enjoy the peace and tranquillity in the lounge. There is a large sliding door that can completely shut off the living areas from the bedrooms to further minimise noise.

The radiator heating system in the bedroom wing, which is temperate controlled, ensures your stay is toasty and warm on those snowy winter nights.

There is also a separate laundry with a washing machine, dryer, sink and ski boot holders. Skis can be stored in the easy to access external storage room.

Please note there is no TV, but there is unlimited WIFI which allows on demand viewing or for you to check into the office if you are so inclined!

#10 - NIRVANA

“Nirvana” meaning a place of perfect peace and happiness.

This gorgeous three bedroom family home, sleeping up to 7 guests, is the perfect place to stay and enjoy all that Lake Tekapo has to offer.

Completely set up to cater for families with a selection of children's books, DVD's, games, colouring and a porta cot and highchair….you just need to pack your clothes & food. There is also free wi-fi available.

The open plan living space is vast with living & dining space opening out onto the very sunny and spacious deck. From here you can enjoy the privacy of the beautiful garden, BBQ lunch or dinner and sit back and enjoy the lake & mountain views.

The kitchen is very well equipped with oven, hobs, fridge/freezer, microwave & dishwasher.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and beautiful views out onto the deck, garden and through to the lake, there is also a large wardrobe

The second bedroom also has a queen bed, and third bedroom has 2 singles beds (there is a foldaway bed available for the 7th person).

The large bathroom has a shower and separate bath. The toilet is separate.

There is a large double garage for storing ski's and mountain bikes and a laundry with washing machine and dryer.

The modern open plan living space has plenty of room for everyone. The lounge area has a large flat screen TV, SKY TV, DVD and bluetooth LG music system. There is a large dining table and the kitchen is very well equipped with a huge work bench and gas hobs, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.

The master bedroom has an en suite and the main bathroom has shower and separate bath. The laundry has washtub and washing machine.

No. 4 is a short stroll from the Lake and the village and has great mountain views.

Quiraing (Mountainous area in Scotland) is a brand new gorgeous 2 bedroom home with absolutely stunning views.

Sleeping up to 4 in 2 bedrooms - one queen - one twin with singles you will enjoy your time here relaxing and soaking in the view.

The open plan living/dining and kitchen area is spacious and beautifully decorated with cosy couches, a log burner, TV with DVD and Freeview and of course those views.

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hobs.

There is one bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. Also a small laundry with a washing machine and basin.

This home is so new that the decking is in the process of being completed. For this reason, and also to maintain the high standard of this beautiful home, we do not allow children under the age of 12 years of age in the house.


#14 - Rambling Vine

Rambling Vine has been enjoyed as a private holiday home for many years. Now the children are grown, the family have opened up their much loved home for you to enjoy.

This split level, 4 bedroomed home, sleeping up to 10 people, is located a short 10min walk to the lake and village centre.

On entry, downstairs, are two of the bedrooms - a Queen room and a Twin (2 singles), as well as a separate bathroom and a TV room with DVD and video player - a great space for the kids to hang out!

Upstairs, to the main living and dining room, which leads out onto a fantastic wrap-around deck, with large outdoor table and BBQ, and views of the lake and mountains.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you could possibly need to create your holiday meals.

There is a large bathroom with a spa bath, separate shower, handbasin and toilet.

There are a further two bedrooms upstairs - a Queen room, and a Quad room (with a single bed and a set of bunks - double on the bottom and single on top).

The house has a great selection of toys and books, and a portacot for you to use.

It also offers full SKY TV, so you won't miss your favourite sporting fixture or movie.

With a log burner, as well as 3 heatpumps/air conditioning units and ceiling fans - the winter months will be toasty warm, and the scorching summer months, cool. Year round - this is a great holiday home!


#15 - ROLLESBY

Rollesby is a lovely 2 storey home on a corner section and surround by trees.

There is plenty of space for the whole family - or 2 families!

Downstairs you will find the open plan living, dining and kitchen. there are comfy couches to curl up on and read one of the books from the book case or listen to some music on the stereo. There is a large flat screen TV which boast full SKY so you can watch a movie or the sports game.
The kitchen has everything you need, oven, diswasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and pantry.

Downstairs also has the main bathroom which has a shower over bath, basin and toilet. The laundry also has a second toilet.

There is one queen bedroom and a twin bedroom (bunks) downstairs.

In the sunny upstairs you will find 2 king beds 2 in the main room and one queen bed in the adjoining room.

There is plenty of room to park all of the toys with enough off street parking for the cars and the boat.

Rollesby is the perfect place to escape with your family and have everything close to hand


#16 - SAM'S PLACE

The large kitchen downstairs is newly renovated and has everything that you would need to cater for your group a large fridge/freezer, oven, hobs, microwave and plenty of bench space.
Also new to this home is another toilet upstairs which is very convenient for those staying in the upstairs bedrooms. The bathroom and laundry are downstairs with a toilet and shower and washing machine.
There is an open plan living and dining area with a log burner for the colder months, a dining table and new flatscreen TV, DVD and freeview for entertainment.
There is a sunny large deck area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ to enjoy the sun and the views of the mountains.
There is plenty of off-street parking and even room for the boat.
You will be able to prepare all your meals in the well equipped kitchen with oven, hobs, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and pantry basics. The kitchen is open plan with the dining room and first living space and also has a wonderful log burner.

#17 - Silver Birch

Silver Birch is a well loved older style family holiday bach that has had a new kitchen installed and other upgrades. It is located a very short 2 minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd and 5 minute walk to the Village.

Silver Birch is a 3 bedroom house on a quiet tree lined street, there is plenty of room in the driveway for a boat and any other toys you may want to bring.

There is one double room, a king room and a triple room. All the beds have electric blankets, and there are plenty of spare blankets for the winter months.

The large open plan living area has a funky 'retro' feel, and has a flatscreen TV with FREEVIEW & SKY, and a DVD player, there is also an ipod dock. The modern kitchen boasts a dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and lots of space to prepare great meals.

Silver Birch is kept nice and warm with a heatpump and 2 oil column heaters for the bedrooms. There is also a nice sunny deck and grassed area for outdoor relaxing and fun!

The updated bathroom has a bath, separate shower and there is a separate toilet.

There is a pool table in the third bedroom and an extra bar fridge for a little entertainment.


#18 - Silver Fern

Silver Fern is a brand new (in May 2015) home in the Lochinver Subdivison, elevated and north facing, with the most stunning lake and mountain views. Light, bright, modern and very homely, this holiday home is sure to be a favourite.

The hub of this home is the lovely open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, which lead out onto a large, wrap-around deck.
The modern, very well equipped kitchen is the namesake for the property - with its large silver fern splash back. It has gas hobs, wall oven, dishwasher, large double-door fridge/freezer, and everything you will need to prepare your holiday meals, which then can be enjoyed on the dining table, taking in those stunning views from behind glass; or alfresco, out on the large, north-facing deck, which has beautiful, chunky outdoor tables and chairs.

The living area is cozy with a logburner and wall mounted flat-screen TV, and comfy couches. There is free and unlimited WIFI, and an ipod dock sound system.
The heatpump is also there to keep the place warm in winter, and cool in summer.

Behind double doors, there is also a seperate living room with leather couches and a huge flat screen TV, with SKY....great for a movie, sporting fixture, or space to keep the children entertained.

There are 4 great bedrooms, all with wardrobes.
The master bedroom is seperate from the other bedrooms, giving a sense of privacy and it a bit of a retreat. A very spacious master suite, with queen bed, wall mounted flatscreen TV, ensuite bathroom with shower and double vanity, and a roomy walk-in wardrobe. Windows off this room look out towards the mountains and lake, and there is a sliding door with access onto the northfacing deck.

There is another Queen room, which has stunning views out to the lake and mountains.

A Quad room with 2 sets of single bunks, and a Triple room which has a set of bunks with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed above.

The main bathroom has shower, bath and vanity, and there is a seperate toilet.

There is a laundry with washing machine and drier, and an internal access garage for the car, or to store your skis or mountain bikes. There is also a portacot onsite available for use.

Obviously, being brand new, the landscaping is a work in progress, however this amazing home with large deck, and its spectacular views will not disappoint!


#19 - STAR COTTAGE - ALPHA CENTURI

Lake Tekapo is world famous for its night sky – we have been given a Gold Level Status as an International Dark Sky Reserve.

Star Cottages – ALPHA CENTAURI is named after some of the brightest stars and constellations in the Southern Hemisphere.

This modern open-plan, self-contained Studio cottage (front of two side-by-side cottages) has everything you need for your stay in Lake Tekapo.

Sleeping a maximum of 2 guests with a Queen bed, there is a sofa, sitting area and TV with freeview. Plus the added bonuses of free WIFI, and music system with Bluetooth facilities.

It has a small kitchenette with hob, microwave and small fridge/freezer, to prepare your meals.

There is a bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin.

Enjoy the afternoon sun out on the west facing patio area. There is a BBQ available for use. Watch the sun set and when darkness falls.

Close to the centre of town, but with garden, mountain and farmland views.

There are no laundry facilities.

With Star Cottages - BETA CENTAURI located alongside, this could suit two couples travelling together, yet having their own privacy.


#20 - STAR COTTAGE - BETA CENTURI

With Star Cottages - ALPHA CENTAURI located alongside, this could suit two couples travelling together, yet having their own privacy


#21 - TEKAPO PAD

This is a large family house that can sleep 4 to 16 people. It is situated in quiet cul-de-sac and has spectacular mountain views. There is plenty of off street parking and lots of room for a boat or two.

Downstairs has the main living, kitchen and dining area which is all open plan. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. The living area has a TV with freeview - there is also the option of bringing your own MY SKY card for your holiday and using it in the SKY box - please note that SKY TV is not available unless you bring your own MY SKY card. Basic SKY cards will not work
Downstairs also has a bathroom with bath and shower and a seperate toilet. There is a laundry with a washer and dryer and plenty of storage space.

There are also 2 double bedrooms downstairs, and the internal access garage.

Upstairs boast another 3 bedrooms
- one with double bed and 2 singles
- one with double bed and 1 single
- one with 3 singles and 1 bunk bed

There is also another bathroom with shower and wash basin and another seperate toilet.

Another awesome feature of this house is the upstairs living area. A great place for the kids and or grown ups to hang out! There is a flatscreen TV and DVD player - so make sure you bring some DVD's to entertain the kids - or view the selection at the Book Tekapo Office. This living area opens out onto the upstairs deck with great mountain views.

The grounds are private with a BBQ area and has access to the forest behind, great for walks or exploring with the kids.

Easy walk to village. Garage suitable for drying or storing skis and other equipment with a special ski rack installed just in time for winter. There is a portacot and highchair available for you to use.

#22 - TEKAPO R & R

Tekapo R & R an amazing place to come and experience some of the best that Tekapo has to offer.

Tekapo R & R is a 2 storey architecturally designed holiday home with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The house is less than a year old and the owners are still working on the landscaping – but inside is fantastic.

There are 4 spacious rooms – 2 queen and 2 triples so it sleeps 10 comfortably. Three of the bedrooms are downstairs and the queen room has an ensuite with bath, separate shower and heated towel rail. There is also a separate shower room and toilet.
Downstairs also has the laundry with a washing machine and dryer.

There is also a downstairs lounge with stereo, TV, DVD, Bluray and SKY.

Upstairs has open plan living, kitchen and dining. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and electric hobs.

The second queen room is upstairs also and a separate toilet.

Sit back on the comfortable furniture and marvel at the stunning views or choose either side of the upstairs balcony and sit back on the outdoor furniture or cook on the BBQ.

•Thanks for the email, we did have a wonderful time in Tekapo, and at Tekapo R & R house, it was just beautiful, the views fantastic, so much so that my 17 year old son did not even go to bed, he just stayed up in the lounge all night just in case he missed anything, watching the traffic go past is a novelty for us as we live in the country and do not see many cars go up and
down our road. we were also watching the fire on the island!, we will definitely book the same house again, it was everything we needed. Thank you for your help in booking it.

#23 - THE BACH

The Bach is a fantastic 5 bedroom modern family holiday home. There is heaps of room for a large group of 12 and you wont be treading on everyone's toes! Sit out on the large deck and gaze at the spectacular mountains and lake views. Or curl up on one of the couches and read a book or watch TV or a movie on the large flat screen.
The Bach has a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen has everything that you could need, including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and oven. The living area is vast and has seperate sitting area's so large groups have plenty of room. There is a large flat screen TV with DVD player and freeview.

There are 2 bathrooms with showers, hand basins and toilets.

The 5 bedrooms are....
•3 queen rooms
•1 twin room (2 single beds)
•1 quad room (2 single beds and a set of single bunks)

Downstairs is a large garage so plenty of room for the ski's or bikes. There is also plenty of off street parking for the boat.

The outside lake facing deck has a BBQ and outdoor furniture.

Also one of the queen rooms has a TV with DVD player so the kids can chill out and watch a DVD while the grown ups are in the lounge.

#24 - Tractor Shed

Tractor Shed is a newly completed, stunning 4 bedroom luxury retreat, located in the Mt John Subdivision in Lake Tekapo. For those who love the outdoors, hunting, skiing, tramping and the like, you will feel right at home!

On entry into this barn-style home, you are greeted with quintessential Mackenzie grandeur!
Exposed natural wood throughout, natural and tasteful colour scheme and decor, modern and clean lines, stags head on the wall and the feature deer-antler chandelier.

The spacious kitchen, with all modern and industrial sized appliances, including gas hobs, huge oven, large double-door fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, plenty of bench space for your meal prep or as a servery and a separate wine cellar fridge for that perfect glass at the right temperature!

There is a large dining table alongside the toasty logburner, and a comfortable sitting area with leather couches and wall-mounted flatscreen TV, which offers SKY for for movies and sporting fixtures. Free and unlimited WIFI is also available.

As well as the logburner, there is a heatpump/AC unit and underfloor heating; so you will be cozy and warm during the cold Winter months.

Upstairs, is the amazing kids space! Two sets of single bunks, a single bed and a trundle bed....up to 6 can sleep up here! They will be well entertained with the flat-screen TV and DVD player and small selection of DVD's & toys, as well as a couple of comfy bean bags for chilling out. A portacot is available on site for any wee ones.

Downstairs are three beautiful bedrooms, all with wardrobes.
Two are King rooms, each with a flat-screen TV and ensuite bathroom (each with shower, toilet and handbasin).
There is also a Queen room, which is located directly opposite the main bathroom.

The main bathroom is spacious, with shower, handbasin and a huge bath to soak in...great after a day on the slopes, or out in the wilderness. There is a seperate toilet.

There is a seperate laundry room with washing machine and drier.

This home offers a BBQ and a north-westerly facing outdoor area which will enjoy the afternoon and evening sun in the Summer months.

No doubt any younger travellers will enjoy taking the big red tractor, the namesake for the property, parked up out front, for an imaginary spin around the block!

Located on a rear section, this home offers luxury and privacy, with partial mountain views.

'silver birch' is a nice holiday house with lots of space, close to the lake. 'book tekapo holiday homes staff was very friendly. We would have liked to stay longer and definitely recommend it.
